Spring has almost sprung!

Warm weather has come and with it the running of the sap...we think.  We excidedly got our hooks bagged, and the trees tapped and are waiting for those blue bags to fill up...waiting for those blue bags to fill up...Ummm..Waiting...

.Even with our beautiful last three days of above 50 degrees,  our trees are kind of slow to wake up.  And, who can blame them!  They stayed up late this year what with winter not making an appearance until February!  I guess it's kind of like trying to wake a person up who just went to sleep!  Hopefully the warm temperatures and bright sunshine will start coaxing the sap up the trunk and into our waiting bags!
